Paint fast or paint slow with Chroma Atelier Interactive Acrylics!
Formulated using a patented technology, Atelier Interactive Acrylics offer artists a versatile set of working properties unlike those of any other paint. In application, they perform like conventional acrylics, allowing for traditional painting and glazing techniques. Yet they also give you unique control over the drying process — plus the ability to reactivate the paint, even when dry.
Professional-quality Atelier Interactive Acrylics are lightfast and archival, with exceptional consistency, brushability, and color load. They dry to a velvety satin finish. When purchased in 80 ml tubes, they offer one-third more paint than standard 60 ml tubes — and often costs less.
Visit the Resources tab of this page for additional information and technique instruction sheets.

Comments about Chroma Atelier Interactive Artists' Acrylics:
It has become increasingly frustrating with the ordering of products from Blick. I go through the process of selecting items and creating my order, only to be told that I must dial an 800 number to place my order, and start over. The excuse given is that there is an internal error. This has been going on for months. I'm so frustrated I'll have to start dealing with Blick competitors. I have been a Blick customer for years and years, and now I'm at the point where I'll go elsewhere to buy my art supplies.
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

Chroma Interactive acrylics
I've been using Chroma Interactive acrylics for close to 10 years now - I've tried others - but nothing compares to Chroma Interactive acrylics. They are thick and juicy and allowing me to put on bright - bold - color. They apply very much the same as oil paints without all the smelly - messy clean up!!

This is the first time that I have used this type of product. I am very pleased with it. I have used nothing that compares to this particular brand but loved it. So, that being said, I would highly recommend it to others. It was recommended to me by a painting buddy that says it is the "cat's meow". I am using it for canvas 3'x 8 foot for a Christmas gift for our son and daughter in law. Early morning sun rise over the lake. It is beautiful, scrisp colors and blends so wonderfully. I'll be keeping this product in stock.

These paints are new to me so I only purchased a few colors to try them out. Wow! The paint itself are rich, buttery, lushly creamy. I absolutely adore the Pacific Blue color. It's a little hard getting used to because like doing watercolor on Yupo, it lifts easily. But it's so much fun to go back and blend or to adjust colors... love it.I taught an acrylic class and introduced the product to the students. Great!

I love that you can re open them up, they blend so well, no chunky tacky mess when you open them back up most of the time water is enough, though the unlocking spray is Awesome! Very Happy with this paint. Great quality, great price!
Beautiful Paint with Great Versatility

I love the beauty of these acrylics! I haven't used the interlocking formula yet, probably because I'm still working traditional, but I like how you can go back and soften the edges with a little water without having to repaint. I like using the binder medium, tinted with the paints, to seal the subsurface of the canvas and create an underpainting. I can then "draw" on it without disturbing my underpainting and "erase" any mistakes by wiping with a damp cloth. Once dry, I can block in my colors without disturbing my underpainting.

Acrylics will never be the same again. Chroma Atelier Interactive Professional Artists Acrylic paint is both "traditional" and "revolutionary". Interactive, when used in conjunction with a simple water sprayer, can be kept wet and workable for as long as needed to complete and unify a painting — then dries rapidly as desired. It can even be "reopened" weeks and months later with the use of Unlocking Formula.
See Atelier Interactive acrylic paint in action. Internationally renowned artist Mitch Waite shows how Atelier Interactive acrylics can be used in traditional acrylic techniques or "re-opened" even days after the paint is dry for blending colors, removing paint and other special techniques.
