Paint fast or paint slow with Chroma Atelier Interactive Acrylics!
Formulated using a patented technology, Atelier Interactive Acrylics offer artists a versatile set of working properties unlike those of any other paint. In application, they perform like conventional acrylics, allowing for traditional painting and glazing techniques. Yet they also give you unique control over the drying process — plus the ability to reactivate the paint, even when dry.
Professional-quality Atelier Interactive Acrylics are lightfast and archival, with exceptional consistency, brushability, and color load. They dry to a velvety satin finish. When purchased in 80 ml tubes, they offer one-third more paint than standard 60 ml tubes — and often costs less.

Comments about Chroma Atelier Interactive Artists' Acrylics:
I like scraping through layers of paint for textual effects and design. The extended drying time lets me do this. Not as expensive as the open acrylics by Golden.

Very intense color
Beautiful pigment, awesome smoothness, and all-around perfection!
from Rockford, IL
Best acrylics i have used. Covers and flows smoothly and evenly. So pleasant to work with. Nice cap design that doesnt allow paint to smear and dry around the cap.
I love these paints
I use these paints on canvas. The colors are vibrant and the texture of the paint is easy to work with. The paint does allow you to wet it if you want to blend it with other colors.

Interactive Acrylics Paint Are Terrific !

S & B Design Studio uses the Chroma Interactive Paints exclusively because the paint drys extremely quickly, yet can be re liquidised by spraying a small amount of water on the hardened paint. We do 3D paintings by building up plaster on the canvas to give everything a raised 3D effect. Some features are almost a 1/2 inch above the normal surface- this really blows away our admirers and clients.Blick you are the "bomb" !
I always love the coverage and consistency of the paint.
On the Fence
I am on the fence about this paint. I wanted to try it due to its open blending qualities. It is a creamy light paint and blending is somewhat better than with other acrylics, when using the accompanying mediums. One must be careful not to use too much mediums. It did produce a nice smooth, matte finish. I think it will take a bit more experimenting to produce other results.
I Love Atelier Interactive Acrylics
Chroma interactive acrylics have amazing body and pigment!
Acrylics will never be the same again. Chroma Atelier Interactive Professional Artists Acrylic paint is both "traditional" and "revolutionary". Interactive, when used in conjunction with a simple water sprayer, can be kept wet and workable for as long as needed to complete and unify a painting — then dries rapidly as desired. It can even be "reopened" weeks and months later with the use of Unlocking Formula.
See Atelier Interactive acrylic paint in action. Internationally renowned artist Mitch Waite shows how Atelier Interactive acrylics can be used in traditional acrylic techniques or "re-opened" even days after the paint is dry for blending colors, removing paint and other special techniques.
