Paint fast or paint slow with Chroma Atelier Interactive Acrylics!
Formulated using a patented technology, Atelier Interactive Acrylics offer artists a versatile set of working properties unlike those of any other paint. In application, they perform like conventional acrylics, allowing for traditional painting and glazing techniques. Yet they also give you unique control over the drying process — plus the ability to reactivate the paint, even when dry.
Professional-quality Atelier Interactive Acrylics are lightfast and archival, with exceptional consistency, brushability, and color load. They dry to a velvety satin finish. When purchased in 80 ml tubes, they offer one-third more paint than standard 60 ml tubes — and often costs less.

I bought the set of 12 paints and mediums last Fall and I'm definitely not a fan. The Crimson color is separated - an oily looking substance and then the red color comes out of the tube separately so it's totally unusable. The Pthalo Green came out in one large uncontrollable blob when I first opened it, causing a lot of loss of the paint. Same thing with the white. I was excited to experiment with this brand but I've lost interest. I should have returned them for a refund.
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend
Atelier Interactive Acrylics
By Gayle J
These acrylics are a revelation. I started looking for them after going to a Hockney show in London where his comments on his recent portraits of friends--mentioned that he had found a new generation of acrylics that allow for portraiture. The reason being--these acrylics do not dry as fast and they feel like painting with oil. The colors are better than I normally get with acrylic paints. I am just amazed at these Atelier Interactive paints.

I love the diversity and forgiveness of Atelier Interactive - from thin washes to oil like results - adaptive to all painting styles - either heavy textures or thin and smooth with no brush marks.

The paint set is a real value and I am so glad that I purchased. It's a great way to try the product. the enclosed educational DVD is quite good that I've watched several times already. The paints come in a wide variety of colors... I especially love the pacific blue! I've introduced this line of paints to our local art guild with great response.
Acrylics will never be the same again. Chroma Atelier Interactive Professional Artists Acrylic paint is both "traditional" and "revolutionary". Interactive, when used in conjunction with a simple water sprayer, can be kept wet and workable for as long as needed to complete and unify a painting — then dries rapidly as desired. It can even be "reopened" weeks and months later with the use of Unlocking Formula.
See Atelier Interactive acrylic paint in action. Internationally renowned artist Mitch Waite shows how Atelier Interactive acrylics can be used in traditional acrylic techniques or "re-opened" even days after the paint is dry for blending colors, removing paint and other special techniques.
