Chroma A>2 Lightfast Acrylic offers professionals and beginners alike a great artists' quality paint at a low student-grade price. It has a high pigment load and dries to a low gloss finish.

Set of 4 — Contains 4 colors in 120 ml tubes. Colors include Titanium White, Cadmium Yellow Medium Hue, Cadmium Scarlet Hue, and Ultramarine Blue.

Set of 6 — Contains 6 colors in 250 ml jars. Colors include Cadmium Red Medium Hue, Cadmium Yellow Medium Hue, Ivory Black, Phthalo Green Hue, Titanium White, and Ultramarine Blue.

I've been painting for many years so I really should know better. A2s are cheap and I go through a lot of TiWhite so I thought I'd give it a go for projects where my better paints are overkill (giving kittens art lessons, demos, etc.)

It is paint, yeah, and it's thick (which works in its favor), stinky, and a bit gritty. It could be I just got a lemon of a tube, but I hate painting with it. It will get the job done because the "job" isn't very demanding, but I doubt I will buy it again.

I can't say anything about the other colors because I have never tried them, but the TiWhite left me disappointed.

No coverage, had to cut open one bottle to get the product to even come out (may have been old, totally unsatisfied; WILL NOT purchase again

I bought this paint because of the low price,but I was surprised by the alizarin crimson. Real alizarin crimson is not compatable with acrylic mediums so paint makers have to use a mixture of other pigments to approximate the color. Most of them don't even come close. Chroma A>2 alizarin is identical to the original. If they can get that much quality with this hard to match shade, how much better can they be with other colors.

I ordered these acrylic paints for an elementary school student who asked me to give him a few painting lessons. Not knowing how serious he would turn out to be, I went for low price combined with the description in your catalog. I am very pleased with the quality (color, intensity, consistency) of the Chroma A2 Student Acrylics...even more than I had hoped. Your delivery was faster than advertised, also!

The quality of these acrylics is really good, coverage is great and consistency is comparable to the artist's one. The real plus though is that they are compatible with the majority of Chroma mediums and can be used in conjunction with the Interactive line for under painting or when fast drying time id needed. Also the color selection is just right to build confidence in color mixing, without superfluous and overlapping hues like in the Liquitex Basic series. And at last the price is basically unbeatable.
