Charley Harper Coloring Book of Birds

Charley Harper (1922–2004) was an American illustrator beloved for his delightful, graphic, and often humorous illustrations of birds, animals, insects, and people alike. His unique and precise style — which he called minimal realism — continues to resonate and inspire his admirers today.

The Charley Harper Coloring Book of Birds focuses exclusively on Harper's delightful and plentiful bird illustrations. They are gracefully translated here into 32 black-and-white line drawings for young and budding artists to interpret in their own color palettes. As a reference, the back cover shows all 32 images in their original, full-color versions.

Each drawing is printed on white paper on one side only to help keep coloring materials from bleeding through to the next image. The pages are also perforated for easy removal and display.

Paperback. 64 pages. 9" × 12" (23 cm × 31 cm).
