A new collection of compelling night photography contrasts the arid landscape of Israel and the Sinai Desert against the awesome spectacle of the night sky. The earth and heavens are mingled in this collection of photographs, which to photographer Neil Folberg represent a blurred division between present and eternity, substance and spirit, and knowledge and imagination. Folberg was a student and colleague of the late Ansel Adams. The landscapes in the book carry an aura that is both earthly and divine. Authors — Neil Folberg (photographer) and Timothy Ferris (introduction). Hardcover. 64 pages. |
