Welcome to dickblick
A nice complement to traditional watercolor brushes, the Museum Aquarelle Waterbrush by Caran D'Ache has a built-in water reservoir, making it ideal for travel, art classes, and on-the-spot sketching. The flow of water can be precisely controlled by a large rubber push-button and water valve, which pulls the water from the reservoir.
Available with either a brush tip or a fiber tip, Museum Aquarelle Waterbrushes can be used for all watercolor techniques.
Both the brush tip and the fiber tip can be cleaned easily by flushing water through the tip via the pump system.
Set of 3
This set of three Museum Aquarelle Waterbrushes includes two brush tip brushes (large and medium), and a fiber tip brush.

Best waterbrush I've ever used!!

Comments about Caran d'Ache Museum Aquarelle Waterbrush:
I didn't expect Caran D'ache to let me down, and I was right! Other waterbrushes O've tried have had the soft body with the "bulb" which was a pain to fill, would over saturate very quickly - a huge problem for someone who works their paint a little more dry. I was also worried about the other waterbrushes coming uncapped or leaking during travel. Not this one! They have solved all potential problems in a super sleek design. The piston system is so convenient, the hard body makes it feel like a pen, and eases my mind about accidentally squishing it. The push button is a great way of dispensing the water, and I feel likebai have a lot of control over how much water is in the tip. The cap is like a pen cap and I just love it so much. Thank you Caran d'Ache!
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Really Like It
I use this for watercoloring, both at home and when traveling. I like the the spring of the bristles. I've tried many water brushes, but this one seems to control the flow of the water better than the others (not too fast). Now it's become the first one I grab!
Caran d'Ache Waterbrush is great
Wonderful waterbrush that releases just enough water - does not leak all over your work.

I like this water brush
I use a water brush for a diluted ink wash with my ink drawings. This brush has several advantages over others: It is short enough to fit in a shirt pocket. It has a functioning pocket clip. The piston fill allows for cleaner fills when using ink. The piston can be used to easily flush and clean the brush with clear water. The rubber bulb and small barrel port allow for excellent flow control. I have heard a number of cons from acquaintances: 1)it does not hold as much water a some other brushes, and this is true. 2)the number one complaint is about the piston being extended after filling because they do not understand the filling procedure. After pulling the water up into the barrel with the piston, turn the barrel over with the tip end up, and push the piston back in. This expels the excess air in the barrel and the piston is then fully recessed. This is not intuitive, and it should come with instructions. This is my favorite water brush now, and I have tried them all.

Nice Micro Tip. Functions as a syringe to fill with water. The buttons on the side, press once and one drop of water comes out. Works for me. Very nice brush and does not leak.

Love the button to release water

Unlike most water brushes, this does NOT suck color into the clean water. I'm happy with it. Wish it was in a flat for large coverage. Great deal!
Great little brush.

Great little brush easy to Control the water flow. The brisles don't seem to stain as easily as some others I've had in the past.q

I thought I would purchase one of the more expensive versions of these brushes, but really, its pretty much just the same as the cheap ones. Doesnt hold that much water, and the button is not really a great creature feature at all, in fact I think just squeezing the cheaper versions is more effective.
