We have been using this product a long time. We won't buy any other product, and this price is fantastic, especially if buying more in bulk.

Love the quality
This specific product was recommended by my art instructor. The high quality is as he described. I'm very pleased with this vellum and have enjoyed working with it on my art projects.

Won't wrinkle up as you erase. Seems like you could pencil and erase indefinitely on the same spot! I use it to draw for watercolor. When the drawing is finished, I go over it on the back of the vellum with a 4B pencil. Then I transfer that graphite lightly to the watercolor paper. This vellum seems perfect for the job.
Nice for embossing
I recently bought the embossing kit for my ScanNCut digital cutter. I've been having problems, though, finding paper that embosses nicely. This is just what I wanted - translucent, heavy, holds the embossed image nicely. Very nice overlay for my one-of-a-kind cards.

Comments about Canson Vidalon Vellum Roll:
Did a couple of drawings and worked perfect with Rapidograph pens.

The product is fine. However I fail to see why you packed a tablet of vellum in a 12" X 8" X 18" box; an environmental waste.

I use it to make large scale drawings for my scratchboard art. Very durable product, doesn't tear like the tracing paper types.
Best semi transparent paper
from New Hampshire
I've used the pads everyday for work for the last several years and when it comes to larger surfaces, I love this roll. The surface is really durable and can stand up to many erasures. It does buckle when wet so that care is needed.
simply the best
for tracing there is no other option..
Such a great paper surface for drawing & layout!

This great vellum paper accepts ink and micron pens extremely well, and has a wonderfully smooth surface. I use it for drawing, and then editing that drawing with another piece of vellum on top . . . it has very good visibility. I also like the way it folds nicely and cleanly, for envelopes that I hand-cut. This vellum paper is a good weight. Love it.
