Featuring Canson's finest-quality French paper at their core, these fine-tooth sanded, 218 lb (355 gsm) papers and heavy-weight boards are destined to become your new favorite.
The surface of Mi-Teintes Touch is ideal for pastel, crayon, charcoal, colored pencil, silverpoint, stamping, and stenciling. It also works well with wet media such as ink, tube paints, and sprayed or airbrushed acrylics. Other wet media, such as oils and gouache, can be used alone or in mixed media applications that combine traditional and non-traditional dry media.

Best customer service
from Anaheim Hills, Ca
I have not compared this product to others, however, when ever I call Blicks, I get the best customer service. I usually have lots of in-depth questions. If the customer service rep can't help me then I am referred to someone who can.
Nice for pastel portraits
from SW Colorado
I am just getting into portraiture, and this paper was recommended by another artist who does beautiful portraits. I've just started using it, but so far I love the soft and detailed effects you can achieve.

I bought this paper to use with colored pencils as I was looking for a finer tooth and great quality. This paper brought both. Love the effect with the colored pencils, and the paper is so sturdy. I've only completed one piece on the Mi Teintes Touch, but I think this is going to be one of my go to papers from now on. Definitely worth the money.

Great pastel paper
from York, PA
I'm new to pastels and have found that this sanded paper is, by far, better than regular paper. It picks up the pastels and lends itself to blending very nicely.
I'm new to pastels and have tried different papers....this was the best so far! It picks up the pastels so nicely that it makes pastel painting a sheer joy.

Great Paper for PanPastels
from Pittsburgh, PA
I bought this to use with PanPastels mainly. This paper has slightly less grit than several other leading sanded papers with a Mi Tientes texture to it. It is wonderful with the Pans, holding many thin layers of those. I usually finish a piece with pastel pencils and softer pastels and this paper holds them all very well. Not sure what would happen using nothing but sticks, but I will try it.
