Comments about Canson Disposable Palette:

This palette can be used with oils, as long as you do not intend to leave paint on it for future use for too long. After a day or two, the oil will start to get absorbed into the paper. But if you plan to use it quickly and dispose it soon, like I do, then this is a good buy. I also tear strips of this paper and place them around the painting's edges on a table, while painting the sides. This way my table doesnt have paint on it. Basically its useful to sheild any area that you dont want paint to get on.

I bought this palette for use in an oil painting class which I've been taking for 2 months from a woman who is a professional. If mixed on a good palette, oils should last for months or years if kept in the freezer when not in use. However she looked at my palette today and noted that it was soaking up oil from the paint and was thus destabilizing my paints to the point that they were no good anymore. While this palette says for all media, she informed me that it is not!

I never particularly liked using my plastic palette tray for oil painting, as it took time and a lot of thinner to clean. These papers work even better than my plastic palette did, and I can just throw them away when I'm done, instead of having to clean up like before. Would definitely recommend these.

I don't have this product available in my area so I was glad to see it at Blick and at a very affordable price. I readily use it for my painting needs... use and throwaway... great for those spur of the moment changes that often happen when using acrylics.

These are nice... Large enough to spread out and mix color and an easy clean up. They even fold nice together if you choose to save your paint in the freezer. Also... paint does not seep through as some other disposable pallettes have done. Great deal!

I really like the disposal pallette ... less mess, less clean up. I place it inside my sealed plastic container and it keeps a day or two depending on the amount of paint left on the pallette.

I paint with acrylics, and these palettes are great. Solid surface backing, easy to hold, easy to dispose of. No mess in my stainless studio sink!! I looked all over the Denver, CO area, and no one had this type of disposable palette. Your prices can't be beat, especially when purchased in quantity.
