I will not be using these cards to produce a beautiful watercolor painting as I have seen on this site, but I will use it to create an original card. The paper quality is unsurpassed. Very thick, and strong, perfect for personalized greetings. The water color texture is apparent, and I am sure it would be perfect for any masterpiece you were to paint on it. The cards are definitely thick enough to hold the paint without curling. I also purchased the stamping cards, and they have a smooth surface. They were also of the same heavy quality cardstock. The price was more than comparable with what I see in craft stores and the quality far outweighs anything you can get at a craft store. I have been looking for a source for quality blank cards for a long time. I will defintely purchase these products again.

I really like using Canson watercolor papers. But I don't find it readily available in most art supply dealers. I'm glad that D Blick carries the cardstock but would like it at a lower price with purchase of larger boxes of cards. I teach art to Seniors and will recommend this product to them.

I use this for greeting cards -- with one of my photos on the front. Everyone seems to enjoy
receiving this personalized cards -- especially if it's a photo of them!

The only disappointment was that I thought they were photo insert cards. But they're very good quality, so I just have to glue photos on the front!

I use both the plain blank cards and the watercolor blank cards. I use them with 4x6 fine art photographs, printed on Moab Entrada Rag Bright White 190gsm paper for an exquisite high-end looking note card. My only complaint is that the fold is often slightly off from being perfectly square. It's not off enough to detract from the cards I'm making, but being a perfectionist, I'd prefer they be perfect!
They are, by far, the best cards I have found retail. Blick's pricing (with the Blick member discount) is the best I've found so far. Great card! Great price! Great store! I really am very pleased with Blick and with the Canson cards.

The fold is out of alignment and I have to use a paper cutter to compensate which reduces the size. Paper is good and takes water based inks well.

I thought these were finished note cards with a Water Lily on top but they need to be painted. A clearer description or photo of a blank card next to the finished may be helpful. Nice quality paper.
