A great product to protect, store and manage my editions.
Too much whiz and even more bang!
from New York, NY
This was perfect, and I mean that quite literally - for a portfolio review I had at a college last month. I didn't put any huge paintings in here (most of my work is done on Bristol and then matted) but I don't think thick canvases would be good for this. Unless you were planning on only fitting one, in which I think td just right. I ordered two books huge books (both size 17x22), fitting eight pieces into each without it starting to budge. Anymore and it would have killed its sleek look. It looks so professional and was so neat, I loved it. I think next time, I would put them in an actual portfolio that holds them with a strap and zip though, it was quite heavy on my arms and kind of awkward to carry because they were so big. But overall, presentable, and professional. I recommend!

Serviceable construction: large bubbles in the middle of the end paper, inside the flaps is ugly and will possibly dent drawings placed inside the portfolio.
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

Cachet Studio Portfolios - Great Value!
from Southern Tier, NY
I use these to hold my 19th Century Japanese Woodblock prints. They have vegetable-based inks, so the acid-free nature of the Cachet Studio Portfolios is a perfect storage solution.
a fantastic deal
I've been using them to turn in work in class and to store old work, their a great product and a better deal than anywhere else

I use the product for my drawings. It's not bulky and huge so my husband also bought one for his work. I've never had a problem. And shipping was excellent. It didn't get banged up and was boxed with 2 boxes for extra protection. Will purchase again in the future.

These portfolios are very useful because you can store and carry your paper in them and you can also use them as a surface to prop in your lap and draw on. I really wish they came in sizes that matched the most common paper sizes (14 x 17" and 18 x 24"). I can use the 17 x 22" and 20 x 26" but it's annoying that they are so much bigger than the paper inside. I looked at the Deluxe Black portfolios at a local Dick Blick but they aren't as good because they have a pebbly surface and the Earthbound portfolios are nice because they use recycled materials but all the ties are excessive - you only need one tie. I really wish they made these Studio Portfolios with the Earthbound material.
Top Notch Portfolio Quality

Quite attractive and extremely effective for the purpose that I had in mind. Please bring back the Teal color. I use these to organize my prints in relation to individual print editions, print types, time periods, etc
from Souythern Tier, NY
I bought the Studio Portfolio 12 X 16. It's the perfect size to store the oban-sized (10 X 15) Japanese woodblock prints. Mount a print on one-fourth of a sheet of Blick Art RIVE paper (comes in 22 X 30 size). So, a 10 X 15 print on a 11 X 15 paper fits perfectly into the 15 1/2 X 11 opening. Bothe the paper and the inside of the portfolio are acid-free, vital for the prints. GREAT FIT!!
