A great substitute for flat files, these very affordable portfolios are also perfect for transporting drawings and other dry media. Work is fully protected in an acid- and lignin-free interior and enclosed in a thick, rigid paperboard that keeps paper from bending and creasing.

The Black portfolio cover is a durable black stock that offers strength and durability. It is produced with several coats of environmental-friendly water based ink and an acrylic topcoat for premium appearance and performance. The material is embossed with a "Kivar" style for additional durability.

I was required to purchase this portfolio (without flaps) for college. The instructor, when reviewing the portfolios, simple unties the sides and it lays perfectly flat, making it easy for her to review the artwork. I, on the other hand, find it big and cumbersome having to haul this large, somewhat heavy, portfolio back and forth from home to college. Handles sure would have made it easier and more convenient to transport.
