Welcome to dickblick
Give students a head start. Our lifelike plastic skull dissects into three parts, and has three removable teeth (incisor, cuspid, and molar). It also has a moveable jaw, a cut calvarium, and suture lines.
Each skull includes a key card that identifies 75 features.

Pretty Good Artist Reference
By The Artist
from South Carolina
I bought this to use as a reference for painting. I needed more than a photo of a skull. The proportions are slightly off, he's a little long in the upper lip along with other similar issues.Works of you need specific lighting or to manipulate for reference but I still had to refer to a more proportionate skull from a photo.
very nice skull. will work wonderfully for my project. very
solid structure able to use for many metal applications ,very versatile.
Model Human Skull - male
from MD - Maryland
Anatomically very accurate. Hardware connectors are poorly engineered, but workable.

Plastic Skull for Anatomy Study
from Woolwich, ME
It is anatomically correct, life size, and of good material. My only complaint is that it was not on a stand.

Quality skull for the price
I'm using this skull for a painting. This skull has solid construction. The teeth stay in place and the top of the skull comes off easily.
Good Skull for Anatomy/Drawing/Sculpture
By Colorado Art Teacher
from Front Range of Colorado
I use this in a high school art class to teach proper proportions in both drawing and sculpture. I had been borrowing a skull from the science department. The science department skull was finished and distressed to look like real bone, this Blick skull is a solid yellowish color and clearly looks like plastic. However, it is sturdier and heavier than the other skull I was using. It generally has a more durable, less delicate feel to it. The proportions are about the same except for the jaw: this Blick skull has a very square jaw compared to the other skull and other skulls I've drawn from. The crown can be removed but I don't need that feature so I screwed it down tight. It comes with extra teeth if you need that feature.
from Scottsdale AZ
I purchased the skull so I can learn how to draw a skull. It's fine especially when considering what else is available and how much it costs. It's made out of yellow-ish plastic, not white like the photos. If you are looking for an inexpensive skull, this is it. Excellent choice.

Excellent for teaching, it is a real value and has a chart with all the bones in the skull.
