Interdisciplinary Connections, Third Edition

Bridging the Curriculum Through Art focuses on the relationship that comprehensive, quality art education has with curriculum content and learning outcomes. The Third Edition has been revised to reflect 2015 National Arts Standards.

The book includes cross-curricular lessons developed and field tested by art specialists and classroom teachers. Focusing on artists and works of art, each lesson is designed to serve as a starting point for art exploration.

Pamela Stephens is an art specialist in the Hurst-Euless-Bedford Independent School District. Prior to that, she was a project coordinator for the North Texas Institute for Educators on the Visual Arts located at the University of North Texas, Denton.

Nancy Walkup is a project coordinator at the North Texas Institute for Educators on the Visual Arts at the University of North Texas, Denton. She has taught art to students from kindergarten to the university level.
