Brent Model EX Potter's Wheel

Brent offers the utmost in precision speed controls, heavy-duty construction, and an unsurpassed 10-year warranty on all of its standard pottery wheel models.

The Brent Model EX features standard forward, neutral, and reversing options, controlled by a long-lasting toggle switch for easy adjustment while throwing. The modular-style foot pedal, motor, and control box make trouble-shooting and repair a breeze.

A top-of-the-line potter's wheel, the Brent Model EX features a superior 1-1/2 HP motor and the ability to center 450 lb (204 kg) of clay. It is the strongest electric pottery wheel available, ideal for potters or students who plan to throw large pots. The poly v belt drive system and automatic belt tensioning can be counted on for maximum performance.

Variable electronic speed control, a cast aluminum foot pedal with a 0–240 rpm speed range, a splash pan, a 14" (36 cm) Plasti-Bat, and a How to Throw on a Potter's Wheel DVD are included.

Brent Booties — Raise your wheel height for customized comfort in increments of 2" (5 cm) or 4" (10 cm) with these easy-to-insert steel extensions. Use them with all Brent Pottery Wheels, including the Ie wheels built after 2009. FOB Factory.

Optional Seat — This seat attaches directly to all Brent Power Wheels, and is adjustable both for height and distance from the wheel head. Built for extensive classroom use, this optional seat measures 8" × 8" × 16" (20 cm × 20 cm × 41 cm), and has a shipping weight of 22 lb (10 kg).

Plastic Splash Pans — These two-piece, unbreakable polyethylene plastic splash pans snap into place under the wheel head. They are easy to remove and clean without removing bolts, screws, pins, or the wheel head. They measure 17-1/2" in diameter × 4-1/2" high (44 cm × 11 cm).

Pressboard Bats — Manufactured to fit over the studs on the wheel head, these pressboard bats measure 14" in diameter × 5/8" thick (36 cm × 16 mm).
