No bleed through to anything underneath

Comments about Borden & Riley #125 Marker Sketch Pads:
I just started using higher end markers and with the paper I WAS using my ink could bleed through 3-4 pieces underneath if i really wanted saturated color. With THIS paper, which has a kind of waxy back, there is absolutely no bleed through to anything underneath. I don't know what else to say, it does it's job and looks great
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Great for art markers!
By Darth mom

I have loved using this sketch pad with my prismacolor art markers. I struggled finding paper I could use with these markers but this guess the bill perfectly. I can layer the markers without oversaturating the paper, it was doesn't pill up, it works wonderfully with the blender pen (with other papers the colours lost vibrancy with the blender pen, on this paper the colours acquired a softer edge while losing none of there brilliance), and the colours were bright and sharp. I also appreciate the backing on the paper that makes it impossible to bleed through and ruin the next page. I wish it came with a harder scratch board at the back, because it seems very easy to bend this sketch pad out of shape as is, but add far as the actual paper is concerned, I'll definitely be using this product for the foreseeable future!

my first choice
This paper is exactly what I was looking for. I work with prismacolor markers the majority of the time and this paper allows me to blend colors without feathered edges. I want crisp clean edges and that is what I get every time. Plus the colors aren't altered by this paper like so many others out there. The colors remain true and rich.
Works well with prismacolor pencils

I used this paper because it was light weight and transparent enough to use on a Lightbox and do the corrective drawing in one session. I used prismacolor pencils and find that the lines of the colorpencils are relatively clean and smooth. It lends to blending with a blending pencil creating a nice smooth finish of the colors.

I recently bought the 9x12 pad of this paper, and went at it with the different mediums I use (except watercolours, acrylics, and a few dry mediums that I don't use when drawing anyways). So far this has been good to me. I've drawn in pencil and erased a good amount of times that this paper should have lifted and torn. I've rendered with markers, and it hasn't eaten through them that I have to refill them, and ontop of those markers I've gone in with pencil crayons, and finliners. Luckily it does have a plastic/waxy kind of backing to it which I guess is what makes it bleedproof. To me it holds up really well for paper that is reasonable in price. Cons are you can't draw on the back of the sheets of paper (I don't normally but if you are that kind of person then this probably is something you should consider if you're looking at this paper). With rapido sketch pens the ink does spread a bit making the lines look thicker. I tested it having more control with the pen and the line quality doesn't look like it has that spreading effect anymore. Still safer to just use fineliners on this paper it doesn't have that problem, at least with me it hasn't.

Still allows for capillary attraction with both tech pens and markers.Lines aren't clean enough.
