Professional quality brushes used in the demonstration of Bob Ross painting techniques and excellent for all brands of oil paint.
Brush sizes — The length and width of a brush of a given shape and size may vary by manufacturer as brush sizes are not standardized. Since fine art brushes are handmade, expect some variation even among brushes from within a single brush line.

The right equipment does make a difference
By Daddy Rik
from Palm Springs, California
I just started painting two months ago and I was surprised in the difference the Bob Ross brushes have made. I am actually proud of my most recent painting. I have a great many things still to learn but now realize I must invest in quality tools. I would definitely recommend this brush line.
Didn't realize how important the right brush is
I will buy these again

They are great for landscape paintings. Seeing the videos helps understand how to use them. They put color down quickly.
I will buy this again from this retailer

Nice Brushes at a reasonable price.
from Eclectic, AL
I am a beginner taking the Ross video classes with others at church. We were given a list of supplies that we would need to complete the videos. The most confusing was the paint brushes. His seem to be identified differently from others at craft/art stores and it was a headache trying to find the right ones. I got on this web site and there they are...I bought them and they have worked well.

2" Blender sheds bristles
from Sunnyvale, CA
This is specific to the 2" blenderI've been meaning to pick up a couple of wide brushes for a while, and picked up the 2" blender. It's extremely soft and nice to handle, but the thing shed a HUGE number of bristles all over my canvas when I tried to lay down an underpainting. I also got the 1" landscape, which works just fine.
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend
Merchant response: Thank you for your review. The 2" blender is a natural goat hair brush, and with this type of hair especially, loose hairs will need to be removed before the brush can be used without shedding.
