I ordered two of these. I prepped both of them and used one of them on my press today. I immediately had this brand new screen fall apart at the seams. I had no reason to think this would happen since I've been using the pre-stretched wood frames from here for a long time now and have not had issues with them falling apart. I don't know how this second one is going to do but I have a feeling looking at the construction and the way they are assembled it's going to do the same thing. Clearly they are made differently from the pre-stretched version. I have two more of these on the way that I ordered two days ago before I discovered this. I will be going to the hardware store to invest in corner brackets to salvage the frames.

I was pleased with the cost of these frames, but after only a few washings, they are starting to pull apart at the corners and are definitely warped. I'm not sure why these are so crummy as my Speedball frames are still strong and sturdy after many more washings. I assumed that Dick Blick frames that you had to stretch yourself would be better quality than pre-assembled Speedball, but sadly I was wrong.

I purchased two frames and they are useless. After few washes, corner of wood cracked and it doesn't hold string and mesh. Mesh doesn't stay tight and my print got ruined. I only coated with emulsion 3-4 times on each frame and both of them are cracked. Because the frame is broken, 100yd cord and the tool become useless too. I just wasted 80 dollar. I would not recommend this frame and groove method for frame.

with no prior experience framing fabric, I easily stretched fabric on these using only a small wide screwdriver, so taught you can bounce coins off them.
