I use two sizes of flat brushes to apply brush on varnish for my model miniatures and they do a great job of it, just need to be sure that they get rinsed frequently to avoid getting clogged as the varnish dries in the bristles. I only wish they made short handled versions of these.

I go through brushes very fast and the price for these are spot on. The only complaint I have is that there are no visual examples of brush sizes-- I don't sit at my computer with a ruler for size reference.

i first used these when i was still living in the us, and they were the first brushes i ever really owned. they work just great for oil paints, even though they are a lot cheaper than a lot of other brands. im not that experienced at painting yet, but these brushes serve my purpose perfectly. the bristles stay in shape, even after being abused (not cleaning them after use, ups).
the only negative thing i have experienced using them, is that the color on the handle will go off if you have sweaty hands or in some other way get them wet, leaving you with very blue fingers :P
im definitely ordering a new batch for one of my friends when they start painting in a couple of weeks.

These are pretty good "economy brushes". They are not like the cheap generic brushes you get in arts and crafts stores. The tips are nice and uniform without uneven hairs, and the bristles don´t fray like the cheap brushes do.

The handles are also pretty well made. I was up super late one night and dozed off with my brushes still in the water can. Several hrs later, the generic arts and crafts brushes became waterlogged, warped, and split, while the Blick Wonder Whites were completely unharmed.

As for the handle length commented by the other reviewer, this IS in the long handle section. They have a short handle version as well...

I bought the wonder whites for a class because a friend recommended them. They are durable and work under any medium (I'm using them for acrylics) and feel great. If you don't want to spend lodas of money on brushes, but want good quality, then these are the brushes to buy.

This was ordered online and when it was received we could not believe how long it was, and difficult for use for our purposes (child's watercolors). Pretty disappointed.
