Our Traditionally Styled Wood Frames are made from solid pine, and each one is expertly stained and hand-rubbed to complement your home decor. Why pay for a custom-made frame when you can have quality like this for so much less? They are similar in style to our Country Classic Wood Frames, and are built in the same factory, but have a more formal finish than the Country Classics.
Each frame has a raised wood molding, which measures 2½" (6 cm) wide, and is smoothly finished. To set your artwork apart, each frame also has a natural linen liner.
Brushed Walnut — This frame has the same classic construction as the others, but it has been given a premium brushed walnut finish with a gold leaf band, elegant detailing that sets it apart from the others.
Frame Depth — The depth of a frame refers to the depth of the frame's rabbet (the cut-out area behind the frame's molding that holds your artwork in place). To find a frame that will accommodate your artwork, measure the depth of the artwork, including any matting or mounting materials, and order a frame with a depth that is, at a minimum, the same as that measured depth.
Note — Frames are sized by the opening, not by the outside of the molding. To determine the size of frame to order, measure the outside of your artwork, including mat, and order that size frame. The frame will overlap your artwork ¼" all the way around, so your artwork will fit nicely behind the frame's molding.
Color Matching — We do our best to match the color of frames, both on our website photography and in our catalogs, but differences in technology may affect the appearance of the photo on your screen. You are entitled to return, for refund or credit, any frame that does not meet your expectations. Remember that the frame size is the size of the artwork a frame is designed to hold, not the exterior dimensions.

The frame was a good fit for the picture I had painted. Also it was light in weight so not hard to handle or hang. Although there was nothing to secure the canvas in the frame, it wasn't hard to attach it with staples, etc.

This is a very classy looking frame for the price. The only drawback is that it is cheaply made like most frames that are made in Mexico but that only shows from the back. The wood from the back is even rough and broken in spots but not where it would interfere with the integrity of the frame. It is very lightweight.
