Perfect for my needs
By Leelah G
from Northern NJ
Comments about Blick Studio Tracing Paper Pads:
I use this to enlarge a design which I then reverse &, using a light box, create a template from, for quilting & embroidery. Though less dense than Strathmore, this tracing paper holds up just as well, & takes color really well, too. Glad I tried it out
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Use tracing paper for a palette to keep acrylic paint moist.
By Ann Cockerill
from Red Cockerill Gallery Austell Ga.
Use tracing paper for a palette to keep acrylic paint moist. Just add a wet paper towel under a sheet of tracing paper. This paper is sturdy enough that it doesn't tear easy but thin enough the water keeps the acrylics moist. When finished, put in a tupperware and put in frig for up to 2 weeks.

I purchased this because we use it in our design classes and it is extreamly expensive everywhere else. When I saw the price I bought a bunch for everyone so we could all take advantage of the price. It's the same material for half the price!

This tracing paper accepts ink from rapidograph nicely. You can't beat the price. Thanks Dick Blick.

Unless you have a lightbox or tape this to a window the paper is unusable.

great tracing paper, not to thin, not too thick.

I use this tracing paper in my beginner italic classes. It's waaaay better than the tablet with the big "T" on it from the popular chain store. And waaay better price!!!
Not Very Transparent
from Los Angeles
Very disappointed in this paper. I was running out of my Strathmore and bought this. Comparing the two, you can see how much more transparent the Strathmore is. I guess this is an example of the pricier alternative is just that much better.
