I have used these papers for student watercolor grades k-8. They shred far too easily with most watercolor techniques. Good price, but really poor quality for painting.

It is a good introduction to water color paper for students who are used to using drawing paper. However, it does not take a lot of manipulation and wears quickly. It's good for simple washes and dry brush techniques and they is really what I wanted to teach.

We're not fine artists, but a family that enjoys arts and crafts. My two year old really loves to paint, but he has quite a heavy hand with paint (like most little ones) and he really needs a LARGE piece of paper on which to work. Ideally, his easel (or table) is fully covered by the paper upon which he is supposed to paint. He simply doesn't have the control or awareness to avoid painting where he shouldn't, so I'm trying to set up a "prepared environment" in which he is guaranteed to succeed.

This is pleasant paper for me to handle. (I do love high quality paper for myself, as well.) The size is good. I couldn't find anything elsewhere in my area or on the web to compare for the price at this size.

We do use plain (thin/shiny) butcher-type paper sometimes, but everyone seems to enjoy working on this paper more.

We us this for students' art projects. Great value. I cut them into different sizes for different projects. Good bright white. Buckles a little but not bad. Came shipped in a nice box (with corners reinforced) that I also use for storing the paper. Ihighly recommend for kids' projects.

This is an outstanding value for student projects! I'm using it for a day camp watercolor painting project, and cut the enormous pieces up for three uses per sheet! (15X12, and 7.5X 10 inch pieces) It is a bright white paper, as opposed to off-white for higher-quality paper, and buckles a little more, but perfect where you want a real watercolor paper with lower cost.
