I use it for mixed media projects - acrylics and collage. Takes the paints beautifully and the colors show up brilliantly. I then paint the edges and the artwork is done and looks great - ready for public viewing. I like the nice solid feel of the surface and the weight of the panel is nice - not too heavy but substantial feeling. I have bought several times and will do so again.

Very happy with these boards -- I use them for collage, and acrylic paintings. Sides can be painted or fancied up with fabric trims, and the surface of the board is very versatile, takes well to paint and different types of glue. For the heck of it I recently tried doing a sort of bas relief sculpture on one, using air-dry clay -- worked like a charm! Will definitely buy these again.

I bought these for my collages, but I really don't see the point in them. They were kind of expensive, but I guess I didn't utilize them properly. They have a hole drilled in the back for easy hanging which is nice, and they are very sturdy. However, I kind of regret spending all the money on these when I could have just bought some canvas for the same price and it would have looked nicer.
