As a collected oil painter, I must have a quality canvas. Sorry to say that over the past year, this product is more often flawed than not. Irregularities in the weave do show up under an oil painting and no matter what you do, the flaw still shows and is a big dissappointment to myself and to my customers. I will not order again.

This is the canvas I use over and over again. I've never had a problem with it and have used it a lot. I like the smooth look it presents versis the sometimes messy staple jobs on a lot of imports. I also wish there was a smoother finish available like this.

First time I've tried these canvas. I'm usually fairly high on Blick products but not this time. Received several canvas and they're unusable. Tension was that of a butterfly net. I'm returning all. Go elsewhere!

Solid canvas, stretcher bars are straight...which is always nice, no warping. One of the canvas does seem to be a bit loose. I ordered five of the 30x30, 4 are perfect. Would order again.

I have bought many of these canvases, because they are very inexpensive, but you get what you pay for. I often discover white residue from the gesso surface on my hands when handling a new canvas, and the gesso coat is invariably cracked around the edges. The canvas is frequently loose or sloppy at the corners.

I have returned them twice (kudos to the excellent customer service department for their efforts), and even tried several different sizes, but have found the same problems with the replacements. I'm doubtful that this issue will be addressed, but I implore Dick Blick to PLEASE do something about the poor quality of this product!

I do not plan to buy these again, and I cannot recommend them.

I do mixed medium/media painting and I find nothing good about this canvas. Most of them are warped, and I have gotten a large variety of sizes. The canvas isn't tight, either. So there are weird ripple in it and it doesn't stay still when you are trying to paint. I definately can't get anything for what I do paint on them. And last, even the white primer is cracking off the edges. I will be calling in a complaint. Terrible.

I use them for painting. What else?? All the gesso edges around the canvas are cracked and peeling off. Changing to another manufacturer to save money for poor quality made items doesn't make any sense. It's better to pay more for a quality item than it is to pay less for junk that can't be used.

This canvas has been my go-to canvas for years now and it has been a solid buy with good size ranges and reasonable prices. However the past year or so I have been consistently disappointed in them and am going to have to find another brand. My last order had several unusable canvases that were loose and saggy in the corners, rippled and generally poorly made. Blick is very accomodating about returns but it is a hassle. Sometimes I can tighten them up but it's hard to deal with the corners and I worry about how that will last once the buyer has had it for awhile. I hope Blick can work out their quality control issues because I'd love to be able to count on this product again.
