Intended for the most demanding professional, Blick Premier Heavyweight Cotton Canvas is made from professional-grade, archival-quality 100% cotton duck. More stable and durable than lighter-weight canvas, it stands up well to heavier paint application.
Every Blick Premier Heavyweight Cotton Canvas is triple-primed with acid-free Titanium gesso to reach a 20 oz finished weight, then hand-stretched and back-stapled onto high-density pine wood stretcher bars with tenon corners for added frame strength. Blanket-fold corners offer ease in restretching.
Eight keys are included for minor adjustments to the frame over time. Cross-bracing on the larger sizes provides extra stability under tension.
This medium-texture canvas with a bright white finish is ideal for use with oil or acrylic paints.

I couldn't be more pleased with these canvases - the ordering was easy, the delivery was fast and free, I saved hundreds of dollars by buying them on sale, and they arrived individually wrapped, in undamaged cartons. I especially appreciate the quality of the canvases and the stapling on the back rather than the sides, which gives me the opportunity to paint the sides and exhibit the canvases unframed.
