We use only sap-free, kiln-dried wood for all of our stretcher strips. They are precision-cut with the most modern equipment available to ensure that every one you assemble will have perfectly square corners.

Standard size is 1½" wide × ¾" thick (38 mm × 19 mm). Tightening wedges are included.

Price is per strip, not per pair. Four strips are required to assemble one rectangular canvas.

I love these! If you're going to be making a ton of frames yourself or you do your own art work and want to frame them, they are super easy to staple, putty and paint. Dress them up or down. It doesn't matter and doesn't take long. The end product is fantastic - so glad I found them. The only problem is having to cut glass if you are using them for framing.
