Blick’s own plaster cloth rolls of pre-shrunk cotton gauze fabric are impregnated with Plaster of Paris.
They’re simple to use; just cut and dip strips of plaster cloth in warm water, then apply it layer over layer on wire armatures, cores, and body parts. When dry, Blick Plaster Cloth can be sanded, painted, and sealed. Setting times may vary.
Blick Plaster Cloth is available as an individual 4" × 5 yd roll, or as four 4" × 62.5 yd rolls, equaling a total of 250 yards of 4" wide cloth.

Plaster Cloth versus Papier Mache
By Larry the Builder
from Chickasha, Oklahoma
I am building tunnels for a Train Layout and thinking about different things to add to my design. I know different people make papier mache in different ways but playing with wet paper with glue isn't for me. My only mistake with the Plaster Cloth I had never worked with it and didn't order enough. Also you can paint it very well.
I will order this product over and over.

My husband and I are currently building two large dioramas. One for our Christmas Village and one for our Halloween Village. We started this project using a name brand plaster cloth and it was substandard and overpriced. I ordered the Blick brand for the value and my faith in Blick products. The gauze is heavier and the amount and quality of plaster is significantly superior. I know we will need more plaster cloth for the second diorama and I will definitely order this product again.

Great for craft and hobbies.
Blick Plaster Cloth
I used the plaster cloth for a large theatre prop. It wasperfect and a great price for such a large amount of plaster cloth. I would definitely order it again.
This is my 2nd order

Having a class of students cutting the strip of plaster gauze can be quite messy. I do lay down a large square of butcher (poster) paper with the gauze box open to help catch any powdery mess.

Great for mask making with a group
from asheville nc
i purchased this for a group mask making activity and pre cut out a lot of strips for sake of ease and time. I made at least ten masks and have over half of the material left. It was easy to use and I will likely purchase this again. Also, the basic shipping was still very quick and arrived earlier than expected.
