Blick’s own plaster cloth rolls of pre-shrunk cotton gauze fabric are impregnated with Plaster of Paris.

They’re simple to use; just cut and dip strips of plaster cloth in warm water, then apply it layer over layer on wire armatures, cores, and body parts. When dry, Blick Plaster Cloth can be sanded, painted, and sealed. Setting times may vary.

Single Project Roll — A single project roll is 4" × 180" (10 cm × 4.6 m).

Hobby Craft Plaster — A 20 lb (9 kg) roll of approximately 250 yards.

I have use medical grade plaster rolls for a yearly art project in my class for the last 24 years. After using these plaster rolls, I will not go back. The plaster was light, pliable, easy to adjust on the face and there was minimal residue left in the bowl, not an awful crust of plaster left behind. the only difference was-it took a little longer to dry on the student's faces, but that was certainly not an issue.

The belly casting kits on line are almost double the price for what you need to do one pregnant belly and breasts. I recommend 4 rolls to get a stable casting. Be sure to use plenty of vaseline on area to be cast to protect skin and hair from the plaster.
