Blick Mega Brushes are perfect for big projects. Our Golden Taklon brushes contain a reddish-gold filament resembling Red Sable. Dyed and baked to make them softer and more absorbent, the filaments are exceptionally easy to clean.

These brushes are a great choice for oils and acrylics because they withstand the caustic nature of solvents and acrylic paints better than brushes made using animal hair.

High-quality brush hairs are set in nickel-plated brass ferrules, assuring smooth performance, reliability, and longevity. All are securely bonded to short, lacquered hardwood handles with glue and stainless steel nails.

These brushes are as soft as you'll ever feel. If you want something with some snap, look elsewhere (the Mega white brushes, for example). I use these when I need to gently move large amounts of paint around without leaving brushstrokes. They are solid and hold up well.

I paint abstracts in acrylic. I am very pleased with this brush, and unlike another reviewer - I have not had ANY bristle loss. I have the Mega Golden Flat 30, and since I work big, I find the size of this to be just average, considering they call it the MEGA - the 30 measuring only 1.5" across. I wish they came in larger widths.

I am a make up artist in hollywood. I recently purchased these brushes 7 or 8 of them for my body painting and i couldnt be happier. This made body paint easier and faster. Lays down a lot of product fast. I still had good control with the angled brushes. Drawbacks are thier size as they are tricky to travel with. Id reccomend Starting with the size 30 brushes and work your way up cus the 50s are really big :-) But i love them and will have them for a long time in my career.

I was excited about this brush because it felt so good when touching the bristles. I was afraid it was going to be stiff. The problem is that right when I started painting the brush started shedding. It was a huge disappointment.
