The Eclipse one-stroke has an extra-long shape which holds a superior load of color, and the square end delivers a reliable sharp edge. It has nickel-plated seamless ferrules on short, black lacquered handles.

I use a number of these brushes in my various lettering and sign painting endeavors. I feel like for the money, you can't go wrong with them. They're great for beginners who'll inevitably trash their first brush or two. Unless you just get a real lemon you shouldn't have a problem making nice clean letters with these brushes, but If you want a LUCO, you'll still have to pay for one..

Worst brushes I ever used
These were recommended by a friend as fairly priced lettering and sign painting brushes. I ordered 4 different sizes and absolutely hate them. They are hands down the worst brushes I ever used for sign painting. Spend the extra money to get some quality camel or squirrel hair brushes. These brushes DO NOT hold paint. You CANNOT pull a long line with them. The cheap synthetic bristles fall out constantly and get stuck in whatever you're painting. I would recommend anything but these brushes. I've been using camel hair Langnickle brushes for some time and highly recommend them. Bottom line. DO NOT BUY. total ripoff.
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

I could give these brushes 5 stars but I simply cannot tell if I am just bias of my old worn-in brushes versus these new ones. They are very good. I've been using them with sign painter's enamel and they work wonderfully.
Amazing little brush!
from Oberlin, OHio
I have been doing brush lettering work for many, many years and I'm pretty familiar with the single=stroke brushes available. But I have to confess I have never before seen a 1/16" single stroke brush that would actually form and hold a chisel edge 1/16" wide. I can do clean, quarter-inch high, chancery italic lettering with this brush just about as well as I can with a calligraphy pen. An amazingly precise and useful brush!
