This is a distinctive brush made of five diameters and three lengths of an exclusive Polymide filament. Each strand is tapered to a precise tip, much like natural hair. The combination of multiple diameters and lengths allows for the formation of color-carrying pockets within the brush.

Learning to paint was a gift to myself. One thing i've learned over the years is you get what you pay for. As a novice of 3 yrs. I've run the gambit of retailers looking for that quality brush set that will last a good while. My medium is oil so I wanted brushes that are substantial. Before purchasing, I read the comments about quality, lifetime replacement and customer service. I can attest that, "blicks synthetic brushes" are top shelf, a solid value, and well worth the cost. I consider them an "investment". Not only will they pay for themselves today but, tomorrow and the next. May be a bit expensive upfront but, their performance and quality coupled with a "lifetime replacement guarantee" makes them a smart investment.

I'm not partial to synthetic brushes but these pretty amazing. They handle paint well. From larger strokes to smaller details. The brushes take full loads of paint which they spread nicely. The brushes have held their shape and spring so far for the year I've used them. The only other syntehtics I've really liked are my Escoda brushes. I'd rank these Blick brushes up with my Escoda synthetics. The shape, weight, and handling are similar.
