Comments about Blick Master Series Single Mast Easel:

FIVE STAR PRODUCT with one very minor problem. Santa purchased this easel for my 10-yr old daughter. However, it's an easel for an artist of any age 10+ and really geared more toward full-size people. We are very happy with the space-saving design that allows the easel to tuck nicely into an open corner of a room. My daughter LOVES it! We had fun putting it together, which was relatively easy. Two allen wrenches are included in the box and are all you need for assembly. All the screw holes lined up beautifully, and the internal threads received the screw well and tightened down easily and firmly (with one exception). Wood is solid and stain a lovely light, browny red color similar to natural cherry. The adjustments for the canvas size are easy to operate, even for a 10-yr old. I only have two very minor negative things to say: one screw was stripped, and the rubber holders for the canvases must have been a bit wet when originally packaged, because some styrofoam pieces were stuck in the glue. However, the stripped screw has not prevented a stable set-up and the glue and styrofoam are easily coming off the rubber holders (which will be covered in paint before long anyway;-). Otherwise a FIVE STAR product. We expect decades of beautiful art to be created with this easel as a helper, holder in its creation.
