Wonderfully brilliant colors
from Ft. Lauderdale, FL
Comments about Blick Liquid Watercolors:
I use these liquid water colors with my middle school students, and the colors are marvelous, except for the neon blue. Not quite sure why but it doesn't behave like a water color paint. The work my students are producing with these far exceeds the pan watercolors.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Great for Art Classes
By Ms. P
from St. Louis, MO
I use these with my middle school art students and they are just perfect. They are an excellent price, and last a long time. The colors are vibrant and mix together very well. I would recommend watering them down to make them last longer. Perfect for classrooms with lots of students because they go a long way.
Metallic Pirate Gold
The Pirate Metallic Gold is more copper than a true gold, but it is a rich dense color with a beautiful sheen. I have used it straight and in a spray bottle slightly diluted. I used it to spritz plain tissue paper to make it sparkle. I have also poured it into a bottle cap and let the paint dry to make my own cake for adding small touches of dense color.
Students love them
By Mrs. O'Hara
from North Idaho
My middle school students love to use these. Very bright and a little goes a long way. We use small cups with lids to cut down on the waste. Adding water gets more mileage from them.
intense, easy to use watercolor
from Pompano Beach, Fl
I have used this in a class and found it easy to use and clean up. The colors are very intense and must be toned down for most things. It is lovely that they dry the same color! They mix well and can be reactivated with water.
Don't waste your money
from Los angeles,ca
The gel like texture has really thrown me off, and seems to sit on the surface of the paper. I am so confused with this product. I wish it was more like a typical staining- dye like watercolor that I have used in the past. No idea why people like this so much!
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

goes a long way

These water colors went a long way, they were bright and vibrant. Used in a large group project the bottles made it easy to squirt into cups.
Vibrate color and great value
By Mrs klein
from Bella vista Arkansas
I usually use this product to create beautiful watercolor paintings, but this time we ate creating batiques. The color is vibrant, it dilutes well in water if you want a less vibrant hue and mixes well with other colors. One thing that is a bit tricky is lifting with this product if it dries, especially for young learners it can be disheartning.
Intense liquid watercolors
I bought these colors to use with student watercolor classes, and more than 500 students have now tried them. I diluted the colors into spray bottles, and they are very economical due to the pigment intensity. I also use them for my professional watercolor pieces, and find them intense and easy to work with.

Liquid watercolor are wonderful
By "The Man" Art Teacher
from South Carolina
This product is a very nice product and good quality. The price is a little high for a lot of school budgets, but if you waterdown the product a little, it will last you much longer without losing the rich color. The students can easily mix these on their paper and can spend more time painting than trying to get paint on their brush with the dry watercolor paint.
