I was in the market for a small frame for a recently completed painting. The price at local stores for a 9 x 12 frame was absurd. Even with a major discount at a local craft store their price was four times as much. For the price of the Blick frame I decided to try it. The quality is very good and the frame was exactly what I hoped for and needed. I definetely will shop here again when I need a picture frame. Very satisfied!

I've found that some Blick pre-made frames will arrive looking fairly good. But too many arrive totally unusable and this one isn't any different. If you're gambling on buying this frame be very sure to take the corner protectors off to verify the frame is actually square. Or nailed together at all. Do this EVERY time because you will find a good many duds (& you don't want to find the corners don't match a year after buying the things either).

I'm not expecting museum level workmanship but squarish corners are good. & you should not be able to see daylight through the gaps in molding/liner, the rabbet should be nailed semi-securely, the cuts should not be actually jagged like they were torn rather than cut.

There are enough duds and total losses that the price isn't worth it. Even if you inspect each of them with the corners off and can return them - the time you lose is worth more than you'd save off a better quality frame. Don't even think of ordering before a show or something.
