Flip-N-Flow fits our half-gallon or gallon bottles or any bottle with a 38 mm neck. The dispenser spout may be disassembled for quick and easy cleaning.
When the bottle nears empty, a gentle squeeze provides a way to use the whole gallon without waste. Invert the bottle when not in use and students can't accidentally open the spigot.

The Best for Big
By Art teacher 42
Comments about Blick Flip-N-Flow Dispenser:
Saves paint. Dispenses paint in small amounts and discourages students from taking too much.Saves money. Enables purchase of largest quantity containers, which is the best price.Last for years, literally. I don't "clean" them at all - I just pull them out of the empty one and put it into the new container. The point where the paint comes out needs care - covers for that would be nice. I use pieces of plastic wrap for overnight.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Blick Flip and Flow
This product does not work for the acrylic paints that I use in my middle school classrooms. The three brands of acrylic have all been to thick to flow through the outlet of the device. I also experienced the same problems as many of the other reviewers. Do not purchase this product unless they improve the design.

Why is this still in your catalog?

I am a middle school art teacher and a paint party business owner so anything that will make the dispensing of paint easier and more economical is certainly going to catch my eye. I really wish these reviews had caught my eye before I bought this thing! I've ordered from this company for years so I'm pretty disappointed that you are still even carrying this garbage, especially after you've received these reviews-don't you have people read them and if so, shouldn't they do something about them? It was a waste of my money and time. Shame on you DickBlick! I am required to give st least one star but it isn't because I want to. Thank goodness I have been totally satisfied with everything else I've gotten from you!!

Big Mess-should be removed from catalog.
from Wills Point, TX
Will not work even 2 times. WILL make a huge mess, on the counter, in pallettes, on clothes. Looks like a great idea--waste of your time putting it together, trying to get it to work, cleaning it up after students can't use it.
This product is awful! We have been using the regular pumps for several years in the classroom and thought that these dispensers would solve the problem of acrylic drying at the tip of the pump. However, these turned out to be a bigger problem and more expensive! The acrylic does not flow out of the spigot and dries inside. Do not purchase these!

Completely useless. I tried to use it with a jug of Blickcrylic paint, and the only way the paint would flow out was if I manipulated the valve handle with one hand while squeezing the bottle with the other hand--which killed the "convenience" factor that had induced me to try the thing anyway. Then, the paint dried at the mouth of the spigot so that the whole thing was stopped up! You might be able to keep that from happening if you wrapped the spigot up with plastic wrap really, really well each and every time you use this thing--but there again, it would defeat one of the main purposes of having the dispenser--convenience. Plus, you have to assemble it, and you'd better do it properly, or it won't work. Either the dispenser won't function, or you're going to waste paint that won't dispense at all and will be left in the jug. You have to cut a hard plastic tube (I had to use a razor knife!) to the exact length the dispenser needs (guessing, because they don't tell you what length to cut it) and then insert it into a very tight fitting. If you don't cut it short enough, the dispenser doesn't work at all. It won't work if you cut it too short, either--and you don't get a second chance because there's only one tube in the shipment...I had high hopes for this product, hopes that were completely dashed.

Not what I'd hoped
from Folsom, CA
I was hoping this product would help control paint usage in my high school art class. Unfortunately, the acrylic paint won't flow through them. I was told to squeeze the bottles gently, but they were constantly clogging. I then tried to use them for tempera, but the gallon bottles of tempera weren't strong enough to stand upside down, and the necks collapsed. I really regret buying these.
