I am a professional artist who teaches painting classes to adults. I purchased this brushes for my classes and my students all agreed the tips were messy, frayed and unusable after just 2-3 classes. The bristles are stiff and course and hard to control - not what I expected. I prefer a softer bristle, as do my students. I had to go out and replace the brushes.

Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend
