Blick Country Classic Wood Frames are fine quality frames made from solid pine, expertly stained and hand-rubbed to complement your home decor. They are similar in style to our Traditionally Styled Wood Frames, and are built in the same factory, but have a more rustic finish.
Each frame is wire-brushed before it is finished to bring out a rustic, weathered look. Choose Country Classic Frames to complement landscape and wildlife art, or to set a relaxed mood for the family room or a vacation home.
To set your artwork apart, each frame has a natural linen liner. Why pay for a custom-made frame when you can have quality like this for so much less?
Frame Depth — The depth of a frame refers to the depth of the frame's rabbet (the cut-out area behind the frame's molding that holds your artwork in place). To find a frame that will accommodate your artwork, measure the depth of the artwork, including any matting or mounting materials, and order a frame with a depth that is, at a minimum, the same as that measured depth.
Note — Frames are sized by the opening, not by the outside of the molding. To determine the size of frame to order, measure the outside of your artwork, including mat, and order that size frame. The frame will overlap your artwork ¼" all the way around, so your artwork will fit nicely behind the frame's molding.
Nice Product, but buyer beware. There is nothing in the description about what type of surface you can paint on that will work for this type of frame. Only something flat like a canvas panel, etc. will fit. Also, it does not mention that you will have to have special framer's points and a special gun that is a little expensive to hold the canvas panel into the frame. This makes it not as good a value. I will now have to call a framer to finish this, which was what I was trying to avoid by ordering this ready made frame originally. So, do the math before you purchase this. The product itself is great though.
