Awesome Palette Knives
By Avis Artist
from Washington, D.C.
These really are fantastic palette knives. I purchased three different sets. Its important to note that if you buy different sets, you won't end up with duplicate palette knives. That was perfect for me. I use these knives to apply and manipulate oil paints. They do exactly what I want them to do. They stay firm when you want them to and will give when you apply pressure... awesome. I own a set of very expensive palette knives, these are better. No fear of rust OR breaking. That is a big selling point for me.... I create 6' x 8' paintings. Most of my palette knives are dead by the time I finish a couple of paintings. These are different...

I love the feel of these and the options for all shapes and sizes are excellent!!
I have been using very pricey Holbein knives to paint oil on Masonite. Someone recommended these, I bought a small one and love it! Flexible but at the same time, sturdy enough it doesn't get all bent up.
Really nice set - well made. enough types of blades to make
Both blade shapes and the easy grip work for laying fine, bold or in between marks easily

Bought two and both broke within a few days of use.

Surprise! Palette Knives that Don't Break Like a Twig

I am using these for blending cold wax and oils. I am using them to apply and move thick oil blends around on my canvas and also on cradled panels. The blue handles are comfortable and easy to hold without slipping out of my grip. I find nothing that isn't great about these palette knives.
