Sure to enhance your paintings and prints as well as your décor, these traditionally styled frames are deep enough for 3/8" (9.5 mm) stretched canvases.

Note — Hanging hardware not included.

Frame Depth — The depth of a frame refers to the depth of the frame's rabbet (the cut-out area behind the frame's molding that holds your artwork in place). To find a frame that will accommodate your artwork, measure the depth of the artwork, including any matting or mounting materials, and order a frame with a depth that is, at a minimum, the same as that measured depth.

Note — Frames are sized by the opening, not by the outside of the molding. To determine the size of frame to order, measure the outside of your artwork, including mat, and order that size frame. The frame will overlap your artwork ¼" all the way around, so your artwork will fit nicely behind the frame's molding.

I am very happy with Dick Blick customer service at the store and online. I actually purchased two different colors of this style frame, both are more beautiful than depicted online and in the catalogue. I received the frames very well packed and a very prompt delivery. These frames are complimentary to the art prints I purchased them for. The frames were dusty,there were a few scrapes and dings, not noticeable hanging on the wall. This was from the manufacturing and storage, not shipping, because these were so carefully padded and packed. Overall, I am happy with this purchase, and I would definitely continue purchasing my art needs from Dick Blick.

Ordered 2 frames. One was fine, but the other was falling apart due to sloppy construction and splintered wood. I had to repair it before using it. They looked fine, but I would not reorder.

As an artist I needed nice, but reasonably priced traditional frames to display floral paintings. These were perfect in size, with a liner which added a nice space enhancing the art. They are made in Mexico and the finishing work is okay...not perfect, but for the price okay. The corners on one frame didn't meet together, but it was an easy fix. This would have been a problem for some, but there wasn't another frame of this size, type and price out there, so I made it work. I will probably order more. They are pretty and it appears to be gold leaf on the frame.
