I am an art teacher teaching grades 3-5. I ordered 40 rulers and all of the numbers have rubbed off. The are pretty sturdy and I have only had a handful of them bend due to the students messing with them. But when it came down to using them for precise measurements the numbers were completely gone. Now I cannot order anymore because we have no more budget money to do so. I wish I noticed the review pages before I ordered them.

I like the sturdy size of this ruler. However I need a ruler with inches and centimeters. A t-square with both in metal would be ideal. The numbers have rubbed off on every single ruler purchased.

I think that this ruler is the best for its value i use it to draw straight,diagonal or any type line they great for measuring and stuff like that.

Exactly what I was looking for; amazing that just a plain aluminum ruler would be so hard to find. Unfortunately, the shipping to Canada trebled the price, but still happy with the product.

I agree with the other posts. I am an art teacher and I have ordered these rulers the past two years. After a couple of months of use, the numbers are all rubbed off. Now I am looking for an alternative.

creative work. I like the feel of them, how they are made & the cost is phenominally Great & Most affordable for Artists. For me, regarding this product, there are no cons, it is just

I used these rulers in my art 1 course and after two projects the rulers are now useless. All the numbers have rubbed off on every one of them. I am now online purchasing rulers again and using more of my precious budget money.

I've used this product over several years and haven't noticed the numvbers rubbing off. Actually, I have more problem with students banging them on the table and bending them. But for the price I have been pleased with them.

I have used these rulers in a ninth grade art classroom, and once the students figure out how easily the numbers are rubbed off, it becomes epidemic. They are sturdy and durable, but like the previous reviewer mentioned, once the numbers are gone they are worthless. Plan on replacing them fairly often.

We used this product in a high school classroom. They are durable and won't break or get bent like plastic. After a few uses, however, the numbers started rubbing off. They became either straightedges, sculpture, or trash when this happened.
