Purchased for a Christmas gift for my art student son. The table had mostly good reviews and was well priced and is very solidly built. The table we received was damaged in several places although the shipping materials were intact. I contacted customer service who rquickly esolved the problem to our satisfaction. I would still recommend the table because it is backed by Blick's excellent customer service.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Table was delivered very fast. I am very pleased with the quality and the sturdiness of the table and it looks great too! Fantastic table for such a low price; it's worth twice the price.

The only problem I had with this table, wasn't the table itself, but the shipping and the way it was packed. The first time this product was sent to my home, the tabletop had damaged corners and the metal parts had dings/deep scratches. Blick was very patient in working with me to resolve the issue. They sent two more tables that were also slightly damaged. Finally, we agreed for me to combine pieces from the second and third shipments that I felt were good enough to make a complete table. They helped me work through the issue and the customer service was excellent. To me, it is a mystery how the product was damaged. Did it happen in transit from the Bieffe factory to the Blick warehouse, or from the Blick warehouse to my home, or was it poor manufacturing standards? Or both? I'll never know. Granted, this table never arrived at my home completely smashed or broken, but there were some definite quality issues that caught my eye. If you order the AF-15, please take a good look at it after it arrives at your home.As for the drawing table, it is really nice for the price. I wanted something really large at 48x36in that was affordable. I like to work with a large space. All the tables I could afford were usually smaller, or if they were larger, they were well beyond $200. This product doesn't look like a drawing table that a typical, budget-consciencious design/art/college student, would buy. It looks and feels very professional. At first, I was a bit hesitant in how you adjust the angle and height. You do this by tightening the black knobs which uses rubber washers to hold the table in place. I would've preferred a table that used a metal piece with notches to hold it up. But the washers seem to be working just fine. When you place the tabletop in a horizontal position at the lowest angle, it will never be completely flat because of the underside screws touching each other. So the tabletop will always be at a slight 1 degree angle, but he supplied pencil ledge (not shown in photos) will help with that.I thought this table would come with pre-drilled holes on the left and right sides so I could, in the future, attach the white side tray. It does not, so if you buy and attach a side tray, you'll be screwing holes directly into the table at your own risk. I guess this is common with all drawing tables and not just Bieffe. This is my very first drawing table so I'm just guessing.Overall, if you want a large drawing surface (48x36in) for around $200, that looks and feels like a top quality product, and you don't mind a few deep scratches in the metal or a slightly scuffed or smashed corner of the tabletop, then this is by far the nicest table you can buy. It's a beautifully designed product. Beautiful in it's simplicity, with a sturdiness that I hope will last for many years. Oh, and I almost forgot to mention, this drawing table comes with a bookshelf that sits neatly tucked underneath the tabletop.
