Hard-to-mark surfaces are no match for Marking Color Collection markers from Bic.
The fade-resistant, acid-free ink comes in a variety of expressive colors, and is permanent on most surfaces, including glass, metal, photos, foils, coated paper, and most plastics. An ultra-comfy rubber grip lends comfort and control, and the bullet nib is suitable even for fine marking.

Excellent array of colors.

Comments about Bic Mark-It Color Collection Permanent Markers:
While intended for a canvas we purchased, these are very nice on paper, as long as the bleed-through doesn't bug you.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

love that they have color name on marker.
I use them to color inadult coloring books. I wish they would sell the colors individually, like sharpie. I would buy more.

I have bought this product again and again

I have bought the 12-pack, 24-pack and 36-pack of assorted Bic markers (fine tip and ultra fine tip) many, many times, and they are my favorite markers. I've tried other brands, including Prisma color markers, and I like the Bic ones the best. You get at least 2 shades of each color in a pack, which is very nice. I use them to color in adult coloring books. The only thing that I don't like is that when one of my favorite colors runs out, I can't buy individual markers to replace them (like you can with Prisma markers), so I end up buying another 12 or 24 or 36 pack, which means I have many duplicate markers in colors I don't use that often.

I love the Bic markers. I use them for "paintings." I use bristol paper or any paper that is smooth. The marker colors blend well but the pallet is limited so that can be a challenge. The only problem I have found is that the markers are permanent but not really. If hung is direct light they will fade so I use museum glass and skip the direct light. I still really prefer these markers to any other.

I use these markers in my own professional work because I need bright, no-fading or non-bleeding, permanent marks. However, this time I did not buy them for my own use but for my art students at school to use on a fabric project. The markers are controllable as the ink stays where you want it and does not bleed. The students felt special using professional materials. Thank you again Blick.

My husband has Alzheimer's and we have gotten him interested in adult coloring books. Your pens have allowed him to spend many enjoyable hours at his projects. Thank you for your prompt service and the quality of your products.
A lot of choices of color

The eight year old loves them. They work great for older kid's coloring books.... similar to adult coloring books. I love the wide handle. Goes on smooth.
Wonderful product at a great price. Great service.

ON PAR WITH SHARPIE FOR SURE MAYBE BETTER?
I bought a set of these at a big-box store on a whim. I had just begun to use Sharpie's more seriously, but the 24 color set was such a great price I took a chance. For a value priced marker (I use the fine points) these are really nice with good saturation and fairly solid lay down of color... and the colors match the cap colors more closely than Sharpie. These cannot compete with Prismacolor Premier or Copic markers (which I have never used,) but for the money, they will give you a lot of bang for your buck! Try them. I do not think you will be disappointed.
BIC fine and medium marker sets
from North Carolina
For my use as an illustrator, this marker is a 0 except for quick rough-ins. It bleeds badly at the beginning of the line as well as the second you slow down to end the line. I ordered both the fine and medium width and both are basically useless to me.
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend
