Comments about Canson Rives Printmaking Papers:
Group of 5 people used all the paper I ordered and had so much fun printing their etched plates that they want to do it again. In the past using same paper several of these folks have won top honors in art shows with their prints.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Buy in Bulk for a great price. I buy the larger sheets and deckle the edges when timing to size. Not a scarp is wasted. Love. I ue with my Archival 8 color Epson printer for stunning results.
Cream BFK is the best for etching!
By Turf the printer

I use BFK for relief, screen printing and etching. I prefer the color of cream BFK to other papers in a cream tone. The quality, texture and durability of BFK is best of Etching, and enhances the tonal value of etching, especially with aquatint is involved.

I have used this printing paper for years. I love the choice of colors and it really gives lovely, clear prints.

The product is fine I am complaining about the fact that it took almost two weeks for order to arrive. Usually orders arrive in a week.

The price is great here for bulk buying. The paper is high quality, and this is definitely the cheapest place to buy. Great for all printmaking processes!
I am exploring uses of this product
By Patricia at Roxborough
I am not a printmaker but this paper came recommended by a pastel artist for it's creamy color , durable surface, and medium tooth. I am using it as a base for exploration into abstract oil pastel designs. It has a great surface for the layering of buttery artist grade oil pastel.
The Best Mixed Media Paper
from Columbia, MO
Rives BFK paper is simply the best mixed media paper. You can soak it for a week and it still dries flat. Use it for monotypes, watercolor, gouache, pastel, ink, charcoal, etc. I can't find a medium that doesn't work well on Rives BFK.
