Pieces are cut at an exact 90° angle, with pre-drilled holes for effortless mounting.

Too Large for my project,
from Bullhead City, AZ
I did not read the description and discovered when received they are much larger than I needed. But I have some larger art to stretch coming that I think they will be perfect for,
Like what it does but has issues
from Tulsa, OK
I like what this product does for those of us that stretch our won canvas, but no penny nails or screws are included and the holes are too large. It was hard to find the right nail that was not too long but had a large enough head to not go through the holes.
Merchant response: Thank you for your feedback. Because artists will use these corners with different depths of stretcher bar, there isn't a one-size-fits-all nail that can be included. For a short nail with a larger head, roofing nails are generally a good option, and, as always, our Product Information Team is happy to advise you. Product Specialists are available from 8am to 5:30pm CST Monday through Friday at 1-800-933-2542 or firstname.lastname@example.org.

The usefulness of these corner braces is twofold. First, it helps you achieve four 90 degree corners on your stretcher frame. Second, it can eliminate the need for crossing your support braces. For a 48x80 stretcher frame, I used the four corners plus three 48" cross braces, instead of crossing the 48's with one 80" brace, which would have required notching and extra time to order (see my review on Best cross braces). These corner braces are just hardboard triangles with six predrilled holes. I guess you could make them yourself but their 90 degree angles are perfect and the holes are already there, which to me is worth it. Please note that screws are not included with these corner braces. But they fit perfectly with Best stretcher bars, as there is a ledge on the bars which allows the corner brace to fit flush in each corner of the stretcher. Love that.

Good Quality Hardboard Corners

We used the hardboard corners on a 44" x 28" frame made from Blick Heavy-Duty Stretcher Bars. Due to the size of the frame we also used a Blick Heavy-Duty Cross-Brace, so with the addition of these Corners, the frame was REALLY solid. It felt as if we could drop it to the floor without any damage, though we won't be testing that theory! They're Hardboard Corners, they work great for their purpose, and they arrived promptly.
Great product squares up frame
from Marana Az
Works great to square up picture frame
Attempts to do too much with a very weak and flimsy material, possibly better off not using it. I wish it could be made out of something more structural or fasteners which won't tear it
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend
