Beautiful and sturdy, the Santa Fe V is an updated version of the best-selling Santa Fe IV.

Like all Santa Fe models, the Santa Fe V is constructed of American red oak with a hand-rubbed oil finish. Its double-masted H-frame construction features a marine winch for raising and lowering large canvases up to 92" high. A self-leveling bottom tray features a Melamine® paint-mixing surface with two large stainless steel canisters. The adjustable top and middle trays have rubber grips to secure the canvas.

I'm a professional Artist and also teach Art and Oil Painting.
This Easel replaces a Larger H-frame studio easel I gave away when I moved out of state. The actual shipping weight was about 75 lbs. It's sturdy enough for almost anything a serious artist can do. Love the stainless steel canisters. I use 1 large canister for my cleaner/turps and the other to store my brushes/Knives. It has 2 small stainless containers (cups) that are perfect for your painting mediums. It would be even nicer if lids were supplied for the canisters. Love the locking casters. It rolls easily on my thin commercial carpeting. The easel is very stable.

When you assemble this easel (Minimal assembly required) make sure you put in the masts before you stand the easel up unless your ceilings are at least 12 foot high. Assembly, only took 15 minutes with a screw gun (Only 5 screws).

I bought this easel over 7 years ago.. I love it and planning to buy a second one.. It is very sturdy, well built.. Great price and fabulous to use.. It has moved with me from house to house.. I highly recommend it.

Quality, Quality! Exactly the same easel as the Santa Fe II except for the Tray. It arrived quickly was partially assembled, and the rest was simple. Made of beautiful hand rubbed oak, wonderful craftsmanship from beginning to end. I am sure it will last a lifetime. After having spent several hundred dollars on other easels, this was THE BUY! Do not hesitate to purchase this item. 5 Stars all the way!
