After reading the rave reviews, I was excited to try this for pencil and colored pencil. It seems to take both well, but for me it's not a pleasure to work on. First of all, it doesn't feel like paper. Feels cheap, "starched". It's thinner than I would like. It is also mottled, like parchment. I would have returned it except I tore out a sheet to test.

I use this paper for the illustrations I produce for my business, and I don't have time for paper that is cumbersome with the inks I use. I have spent months searching for a paper like this, and I am more than pleased! The surface erases easily for pencil work, and responds remarkably to wide variety of ink- even layers of ink. I highly recommend for pencil, ink, and marker use.
