Comments about Bee Paper Aquabee Super Deluxe Sketchbook:
The Bee Paper Super Deluxe sketchbooks are the best-- they put up with watercolors and ink as well as being a great surface for pencil and charcoal. I have 4 different sizes and just love them!

This is my favorite sketchbook, hands down. I can use markers, watercolors, and other media with no bleed-through or deterioration of the paper. The 9" square size is perfect for tossing in my purse/tote bag and taking it places. Big enough to fit a variety of work but not unwieldy. The heavy duty rear cover provides solid support as well as protection for the interior pages. I've never had the spiral binding come undone and snag on items as other sketch books have done in the past. The paper is just a smidge off-white so colors render pretty true and vibrant. You will not be disappointed.

Bee Paper Aquabee Super Deluxe Sketchbook
I've been wanting to try Bee Books products for a while now. An art teacher & an art friend both recommended it to me. I'm really liking it alot.

I first encountered this paper in ArtSnacks and I love how well it works with different mediums. If you only work in one medium choose dedicated paper, but if you tend to switch or do mixed media this is perfect. I've used it for ink, pen, colored pencil, and water color.
Very versatile book for the price

I have been using the 6 by 9" size of this sketchbook for several years now - I use them as my art workbooks and just started my fourth one. I plan my paintings in them, which can involve any or all of the following: graphite sketches, ink washes, watercolor washes or acrylic color swatches. I also print out WIP photos I've taken and glue them in with Modgepodge. The paper is fairly durable. It can handle a few light washes of ink or watercolor with minor buckling (although I use bullclips to help keep the paper flat). The first layer of acrylic tends to almost soak into the paper, but after that it's great. It doesn't handle colored pencil very well, though, and I don't like using pen in it very much. I usually fix my graphite pages with workable fixative to prevent smudging. I will keep buying these!
Strong lovely paper
I use this paper for line drawings, colored pencil drawings and watercolor painting.

Best Sketchbook Around!!

Been using this sketchbook since 1980! It takes watercolor along with ink and pencil beautifully! I won't buy any other kind. I even drew an illustration of it in my new book, An Artistic Date with Nature!

Just enough grit

I'm going to use it for drawing and probably with pen and ink. I tried my pen on it, and the ink went on smoothly and didn't run.
