Make your artist journal as distinctive as your artwork! Bee Creative Marker Books have sturdy black chipboard covers that can be decorated to suit your personality or your interests.
Each book holds 50 sheets of acid-free, 110 lb (180 gsm) white paper with an ultra-smooth surface designed especially for detail work. Approved for use with Copic and Touch markers, the paper also has an excellent surface for pen-and-ink, crowquill pens, technical pens, and permanent markers.
A double wire binding creates a flat working area, allowing artists to create across two pages. The extra heavyweight front and back covers are 100% recycled and provide a stable surface for field work.

I've been holding off on getting this pen because it's a tad more pricey, but it's pretty worth it! I can't say it's the best because it's the first of it's kind I've tried, but I love it so far. Previously I've used felt brush tips (pigma most specifically) and thought I'd try this instead. Glad I did! No more of that fraying nonsense (not to knock pigma or anything).Bottle ink and brush may be best way to go in terms of longevity/ getting your money's worth. I've had this for a little over two weeks and had to change the ink 3 times (abnormally heavy use, to be fair). The brush tip itself has held up nicely. In terms of no-fuss no-mess this works just great. I'd recommend giving it a go, especially if you're still using felt tip brush pens! It's worth the upgrade.
Simply the best I have worked with!

The paper has a great weight to it and a smoothness you want for markers. You will also notice the little extra's that make it an even better value. 1. Heavy cover and backing for a firm drawing table for those who do their work anywhere. 2. A clear vellum sheet for those who wish to layer colors and use blenders so that no bleed occurs onto the next sheet regardless of how heavy the application. Yes it's a little more expensive but we'll worth the money!

Great for on the go
Love this book, particularly for the cover (simple black cover on both sides with minimal branding and a rigid surface makes it very portable). Paper is smooth and nice quality like described. It's taken my Pitt markers, fountain pen inks, and sharpies without any noticeable feathering or bleedthrough (Copics did have bleedthrough by the second layer of ink, but that's expected of Copics). Not mentioned in the description of the product are:+ There are two translucent (plastic?) sheets on the front and back of the sketchbook, between the cover and the actual marker paper. I'm not exactly certain what they're for. Could be either decoration (can be drawn on, some mediums show up better than others and it's a little rough on nibs, but it stays on, even against rubbing alcohol), or as a sheet to work over and protect your cover/work. In either case I find it an elegant and professional touch.+ The paper sheets have a light perforation along the edge (for my 8x8 notebook, it's marked accurately to tear off as an 8x8" sheet). Doesn't look heavy enough to begin tearing off on its own (when I tugged a sheet, it tore more readily from the wire and not the perforation), but makes it possible to crease and tear off a nice straight edge.
