I have the fine and medium Sotar airbrushes, and I think they are the best airbrushes available. I used to own an Iwata Custom Micron CM-SB airbrush but sold it. The Sotar is easier to clean, accepts all 3 of the tip/needle/regulator setups in the one body, and has fantastic atomization.

After talking to the designer of the Sotar at Badger, I know the fine tip is .2mm, the medium .45mm, and the heavy is .7mm, with the cup size being 2 ml or 1/12 oz. My favorite is actually the medium, and the Blick price is amazing! These are still being sold by others at or near the list price. You can get replacement tips, needles, and regulators, but I think Blick should carry them too, and these cost much less than the Iwata replacements for the Custom Microns.

Do yourself a favor and get the best for less!

"This is the finest air brush ever made" it said so on the box. The 20/20 is the American airbrush version of a stealth fight . You can spray a hair line all day long it spray like a Rapidograph draws lines. It is easy to use one of the smoothest triggers in the air brush world. It has a crazy amount of control, and comfort, small, perfectly weighted, beautifully designed, nice needles, easy removal,a true joy to own, use and clean. It is the only airbrush where I can do fine lines all day and my hand not hurt it means a lot.
