Badger's Model 155 "Anthem" Double Action Airbrush is the most versatile, comfortable, reliable, and proficient airbrush Badger has ever made.
With Badger's Model 155, there is no need for separate tips to spray different materials and consistencies. Anthem's thinner diameter needle meets with the cone-shaped paint tip in a manner that enables a single needle to spray virtually any desired material, thus eliminating the need for fine, medium, and large needle/tip assemblies.
Anthem's streamlined body design provides exacting balance and long-term user comfort. Needle removal and replacement is extremely fast and easy.
In all, Anthem offers excellent performance in the most rigorous production circumstances, yet is easy for the novice to operate.
Model 155 "Anthem" Set

Comments about Badger Model 155 "Anthem" Double Action Airbrush:
I had an older one of these, and the newer one has a better balanced handle and the larger metal trigger (without the rubber bit). The tip is rather large and it can blow out a lot of material. I like that the tip/needle are interchangeable with the 105, so you can use fine and extra-fine, sometimes I switch them around depending on what I'm working on. I mostly use this for areas where I need a wet coat of a heavier material, or a large coverage, otherwise I prefer the smaller gravity cup on the 105 Patriot Arrow.

as a replacement for a thayer and chandler internal mix dual action side feed airbrush, the 155 anthem FLALLS FLAT ON ITS FACE, while it is capable of achieving a fine line, the extremely wide range of spray that this brush is capable of makes it difficult to maintain any level of control on a fine level (despite 15 years of experience with airbrushes), i have had to reduce my paints twice as thin as i did with my previous airbrush simply to achieve the same line without causing a clog which requires a major cleaning (which is easy but not any easier than most DA IM brushes i have used)... its a decent gun if you want to cover large areas or blast your medium at 30+PSI but if your looking for a precise, fine line at pressures which will not damage delicate subjects i suggest looking elsewhere... icing on the cake for me has been badgers complete lack of any form of customer service, i heard they had great CS... apparently that was false information. bottom line SURPRISINGLY BAD
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

Badger Model 155
from BC Canada
I have been airbrushing professionally since the 70's and badger was there. I probably burned out 10 150's in my day and as a testament to the model it is still around. I still have probably 4 or 5 of them waiting in the wings but since giving the Anthem a try I haven't needed or wanted to use anything else. It is a workhorse that performs like a much more expensive brands I use. The Anthem does everything they do, just as well... but for a fraction of the price. However, I always keep well stocked with parts, mainly tips and needles. I only use acrylics these days but I find the the needles in particular, are of a lower grade metal causing them to wear quickly. I would like to see tip and needle sets available in high grade metal for guys like me that use them a lot.
Great triggering action and ease of use
I recently purchased the Anthem 155 and just love it. Great triggering action right out of the box, (I tweaked mine for ultra lite triggering response), super easy needle removal and over all cleaning for a great price. I have been out of air brushing for 16 years now and with this brush it was as if I never stopped! From ultra fine line and pointing to near full triggering and back with out skipping a beat. I use my Anthem 155 for fine art to t-shirt art and everything in between. The Anthem 155 could use a longer and/or heavier counter balance to maximize comfort for my 7-10 hour days.Dick Blick and their store representitives are knowledgeable, very curtious and just rock. Great shopping experience.

Best thing since sliced bread
from Harrogate UK
Replacement for a Badger 200 single action airbrush. I wish I had bought this sooner. Very easy to use, VERY easy to clean. Perfect spraying of enamel and acrylic paints, I can think of no way it could be improved
